Beverage logistics specialists Robert Kukla UK have bolstered their management team by appointing the highly experienced Gavin Williams as Deep Sea Manager, from 1st September. The step is part of the company’s expansion plan and to support its growing business and commercial partnerships in the industry.
A highly respected professional team leader, Williams will manage and oversee the daily import and export operations for Kukla UK. He brings expertise acquired over a career in drinks forwarding, having previously worked for specialist freight forwarding companies spanning a twenty-year period. His insight will complement Kukla’s UK top management team and bring additional knowledge and insight gained during his time working in the movement of wines, beers and spirits.

Kukla UK enhanced its position in the UK beverage logistics industry as a highly competitive business with the other two appointments earlier this year. John Hay was hired as Commercial Manager at the start of January 2022 from his posts as a director at Origin Wines and Hun Wines. His employment was soon followed by the announcement of Steve Wilson as Senior Customs Division Manager, who joined the Customs Division in Folkestone on February 1st. Mr Wilson brought more than 30 years of experience managing the UK Customs system’s challenges, changes and complexities.
