Kent Access Permit (KAP)

UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) announced that Kent Access Permits (KAP) will be stood down from 20 April 2021. “As delays have been prevented thanks to hauliers arriving at the border prepared”, stated DfT. They further commented, “the removal of the KAP will mean less paperwork for hauliers, making it quicker and easier to cross the border.”
